Atomic Kitten first formed as a band in 1997, with three members and three UK number one singles. Their songs and albums were aimed at a teenage audience of girls and conformed with other girl groups of the time. Their music is in the category of pop and was energetic in terms of their sound and their styles. The band follow Andrew Goodwins theory exactly with their themes being conventional and stereotypical of the genre and of the time they were filmed.
